Welcome to Evening Star Tourist Park!

A True Outback Experience

The Evening Star Caravan Park is located 8km west of Charleville on the Adavale Road. Right in the heart of the Mulga Lands in South West Queensland, you have the chance to immerse yourself in nature, the quiet, by the campfire and be dazzled by the ultimate evening accessory - the night sky.

The VanPark is named after Venus, which shines bright here in the western skies.

Adjoining Thurlby station, an aggregation of a 33000 acres rangeland grazing property, the Evening Star Tourist Park is the ideal location to discover the history, landscape and people of Charleville and surrounding regions and learn about who we are and where we call home.

Whatever your plans are, the Evening Star Tourist Park offers you a chance to sit, read and relax. Go for a wander on one of our many bush tracks, chat with new friends, with a sealed road into town to enjoy the many things on offer in our great town of Charleville.

Great hosts and an amazing outback experience. Sitting around a campfire being entertained by a wonderful country singer and eating damper, surrounded by red dirt and so dark at night that you can see every star in the sky. This place is magical, highly recommend.
